competent crew position caribbean Panama canal and Pacific crossing

The owner and the captain of a recent, ocean worthy, fast and comfortable outremer 5x sailing catamaran are looking for a full time crew member to join them for a unique opportunity of sailing and living aboard for the initial period of February to August 2023.

Basic itinerary
Early Jan 2023 - shortlist WhatsApp interviews and final selection
Early Feb 2023 - join the boat
2 weeks shore time before departure
Late Feb 2023 passage to Panama
4 weeks shore time in shelter bay , Panama
April 2023 canal crossing
3 weeks shore time Panama City
May June - Panama - Tahiti
4 weeks shore time in Tahiti, french Polynesia
July August - Tahiti (Fiji) Australia

And beyond....
(Depending on plans and decisions to be made in 2023, crewing proposition may stay open for sailing from Australia, via cape of good hope to the Carribbean by February/march 2024)

Main duties
Watch keeping during passages
Assisting with maintenance
Boat watching, preventive maintenance and cleaning during boat down time periods
Stock keeping and restocking before passages
Basic administration

This is a non paid position
Flights to and from the boat are refunded
Food and drinks onboard included
Personal liability insurance
Visas fees paid
Weekly allowance when on shore time.
Private cabine (on rare occasions shared with another crew member on passages)
